When you are painting a landscape,
assume the painting is real
and the landscape is an illusion.

Featured Work - Eel Pond
On a sweaty, hot August afternoon, free to wander unencumbered, we happened upon a small pond among the rolling, green hills of northern Connecticut. The water was barely visible through the abundant growth teeming with activity. Dragon flies, crickets, frogs, all made themselves heard, while faint “plops” on the water surface reminded us of the fish beneath all that cacophony. The sun, indifferent to all this, shed its blazing, hot rays to make playful reflections of sky through the patches of water.
